Rosete Hardscapes requires clients to have a design to work with us. Our design fee for a backyard starts at $1,400. Designs ensure clarity, accuracy, and efficient construction, preventing misunderstandings, identifying issues early, and optimizing for exceptional results. Have you determined your max budget spend for this given project?

Our projects commonly range between $100 to $200k, although we’ve done projects as low as $25k and as high as $300k. If you need guidance in determining your project budget, you can schedule a call with our team here.

Getting to know us

A. Schedule a call – Our initial call will help get us introduced. Well dive into your wish lists, your timeline, your budget. Our goal is to answer any questions you may have and to help determine if a design is required or not. If a design is required we will schedule a separate zoom call which will initiate the start of the “Design Process”. We will also assign a homework task in finding 3-5 inspirational pictures that will be needed for the Virtual Design Call. Alternatively, if a design is not required, we will promptly schedule an onsite visit during the initial call.

B. Virtual Design Initiation – – Throughout this Zoom call, we will explore your project in greater detail, discuss the inspirational pictures, and establish clear expectations for design and build costs. Should you decide to proceed at the end of our discussion, we will coordinate a site visit to commence and propel your design journey.

C. Sign Design Agreement & Pay Deposit – At the conclusion of the Zoom call, an invoice will be sent, providing the client with the option to conveniently pay online using a credit or debit card or to drop off a check at the office. A notable advantage of investing in a design is that all design expenses contribute directly to the overall project cost.

A. Due Diligence
Property Documentation: We’ll obtain and review your property plat, existing architectural documents, and HOA guidelines to ensure any necessary design constraints are accounted for

B. Onsite Visit – Our team will conduct a site visit to gather comprehensive measurements for the design, including the creation of a grade map and charting your existing utilities. This meeting presents an ideal opportunity to explore and discuss any design ideas or spatial flow preferences.

C. Design Presentation – Our designers will deliver the initial design draft via email within 2-3 weeks, accompanied by a ballpark estimate. Homeowners will be given 3-5 days to review the first draft, formulate any questions, and subsequently, a follow-up call will be scheduled to address and discuss any revisions. This iterative design review process will continue until a final design is mutually agreed upon.

D. Verify Design – Once the final design has been agreed upon, RH will provide a cost estimate for the completed design. Subsequently, the homeowner will proceed to the supplier to finalize the proposed materials. After finalizing the materials, RH will schedule a final site visit, during which the design will be carefully reviewed with the client. This review will include double-checking levels, locations, and measurements to ensure functionality. If everything aligns with expectations, the homeowner will then receive the final 3D images, a 2D plan, and a video walkthrough. Additionally, the homeowner will be presented with the final project cost..

E. Sign Proposal & Deposit – We will present an official proposal detailing the pricing, terms and conditions, and warranty provisions. Upon agreement sign-off, we will collect the deposit and secure your project in our schedule. Should the project necessitate permits or engineering tasks, we will guide you through the next steps.
